There is a possibility that Robert James Dunn is the "Bob Dunn" who came to see my great-great grandmother, Mary Dunn Callaway Williams, from Texas while she was living in Clark County, AR.

There is an undated photograph of Mary and Bob, taken in Clark County that has been in my family for years. Through some serious searching by one of my third cousins, we know that this Robert James Dunn lived three farms away from Mary and her second husband, David Andrew Williams, in Greenville Twp, Clark County in the 1880 census.

My cousin then tracked Bob Dunn to Hunt County TX, where he died in 1926. Mary died in Clark County in 1929, at the age of 80. We think Robert James Dunn was Mary's younger brother, and as with Mary, have been unable to discover his parents.

From The Commerce Journal, 24 May 1901:
"Dunn-Wofford
Married, in this city, Saturday, May 18, 1901, Esq J W Manning officiating, Mr. R J Dunn, and Miss Bettie Wofford. Mr Dunn's one of the most prosperous farmers of the Yowell community, and Miss Wofford is the daughter of one of his neighbors, and has many friends in the community. The wedding was a Gretna Green affair, the parties having to overcome by strategy parental interference. The Journal hopes they may live long and happily together."

From the Commerce Journal, 17 Dec 1926:South Sulphur - The community was made sad Wednesday night by the death of one of our old citizens, Mr. R J Dunn, who died at his home just south of the school house, after an illness of five days."
