        Text: Hi, The son you have listed of William Newsom and Mary Jordan Newsom was named Joab. His first wife was Elizabeth Barnes, mother of Simon and grandmother of Redden et al. After her death he married Elizabeth Council "Betsy" Best, a daughter of Benjamin Best Jr. Her and Joab's youngest son was my great grandfather, Joab Council. Joab Council married Rebecca Uzzell. Their oldest son was my grandfather, William Council Newsom. William Council married Jeanette Augusta Adkins. Their seventh child and middle son was my father Arnold Joab Newsome. That generation added the "e" to the name. Arnold Joab married my mother Ruby Hazel Sullivan. I am the fifth and last child and second son. I married Darlene Bass and we have four children, three girls and one son. His name is William Joab Council "Will" Newsome, "William VII in his direct line since 1445 in Newsham Hall. It is by Mary Jordan from the Tooke's that we descend from a known/proven 85 kings and emperors
        and a wealth of other historic figures.
