    Twice married, to Tennessee Allman on 11 October 1855 in
    probably Coffee County, Tennessee (children: May Ella Isbell, 30
    October 1858 - 19 April 1925, married George W. Cross 1891; John
    Phinix Isbell; Blanche Isbell, circa 1860 - ); and to
    Misadora/Musadora Pope (the widow Byrom).

    1850 Missouri census, Campbell Township, Greene County, dwelling 201,
    family 201. Finias C. Isbell, lawyer, in father's household.
    1860 Tennessee census, Coffee County p. 49. Phineas and Tennesse
    Isbell with three children.
