  • ID: I7895
  • Name: Mary HALL
  • Sex: F
  • Birth: 1765/1772 in North Or South Carolina
  • Note: Unverified. Ancestry research on this line including DNA tests are in progress. It is said by some descendants that Benjamin Merritt's parents were possibly a Mary or Mirey Hall and an unknown Merritt descending from the Sampson Co., North Carolina Merritts. It is believed that Benjamin's half brother Clemson Hall took his mother's maiden name. Clemson's parents are currently unknown. Theories are that his mother (Hall) may possibly married twice to two different Merritts from the same line or had Clemson out of wedlock, but anything is possible.
