Note:
My maternal grandmother was one of the sweetest, kindest, most hardworkin g, most patient and least complaining women I've had the privilege of know ing. She also possessed a wonderful sense of humor. I have many fond mem ories of my grandmother, but the ones that make me smile most are remembra nces of her with her sister Aileen ("Peen") giggling like a couple of teen agers. She was also the person who, when she was probably in her late 50 s, told me that she still felt like a girl inside and was shocked when s he caught an unexpected glimpse in a mirror or store window and would wond er who that old woman was. I've now gotten to that age so I completely un derstand what she was saying because I have the same experiences and feeli ngs. I'm grateful to have had her for a grandmother.

Miriam G. "Peg" Naugle, 92, of 609 W. King St., Shippensburg, di ed at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 1996, in Menno Haven Nursing Home.
Born June 18, 1904 in Walnut Bottom, she was a daughter of the late Cl arence J. and Florence Latshaw Goodhart.
A member of Christ United Methodist Church , Shippensburg, she was a m ember of Pearl Seekers Sunday School Class and a former choir member. S he was also a member of First Court Chapter 470 Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, W. Edwin Naugle; a son, Richard L. of Chamb ersburg; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchidren; a brother, Cecil Good hart of Walnut Bottom; and a sister, Aileen Mierop of Quarryville.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Christ United Methodist Churc h, Shippensburg. The Rev. Petter A. Seiler Jr. will officiate. Burial wi ll be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday in the chur ch.
