DOCUMENTATION SOURCE: Known as "Aunt Bessie". "Aunt Bessie" never married; her life was one of service and devotion to her family and others. She was never happier than when she was needed to help some of her relatives or friends and was always a welcome member of the Olmstead family, with whom she made her home. Her tombstone reads: " Mary Elizabeth Hendry, Daughter of Littleberry and Amanda Hendry June 8, 1872 Nov 15, 1951 Having lived a life of unselfish service she now sweetly rests" She has a foot marker that reads "Aunt Bessie" Father: Littleberry B.
