    He must have been born after the census in 1820, but it is unknown whether he was born after the death of his father.

    In January 1852, he is enumerated as living in a brick and frame house, two stories in height, 4 people "in family," an d being on 1/10 of an acre of land. Also living in his household is A. S. Kahill, servant, female aged 23 years, bor n in Ireland, and a Catholic.

    In 1870 he is enumerated as having $1,500 worth of personal estate (no value listed for real estate).

    In 1880 he is enumerated as divorced, and both his parents being born in Vermont.
