My paternal great grandparents, the Sandbergs and Hallstroms, emigrated from Sweden in the 1880s and settled in what is now Pennington County, Minnesota. My database includes many families from Thief River Falls, Minnesota. On my mother's side, the Floyers are an ancient English West Country family. Much of my database deals with the genealogy of Devon, Dorset and Cornwall.

      Note: "... derives primarily from the genealogical researches of William Treffry Hoblyn (1870-1955) contained in his notebooks, genealogies and letters to John Bright Hoblyn (1880-1933) left in the latter's papers. The notebooks contain transcriptions of Parish Records, wills, inquisitions etc. The genealogy derives primarily from Vivian, but WTH checked many of Vivian's records and made some corrections and additions, including those for later generations down to his own. He also consulted all of the other published authorities. This has been supplemented by consulting sources available on the Internet, primarily parish records and census returns. Many of the genealogies posted on the internet were found to be very unreliable. This particularly concerns Ancestral Files and IGIs posted with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In general, inconsistencies and ambiguities have been noted in the notes to particular entries where the information contained here is not reliably sourced."
