My paternal great grandparents, the Sandbergs and Hallstroms, emigrated from Sweden in the 1880s and settled in what is now Pennington County, Minnesota. My database includes many families from Thief River Falls, Minnesota. On my mother's side, the Floyers are an ancient English West Country family. Much of my database deals with the genealogy of Devon, Dorset and Cornwall.

  • Note: According to 'County Families of Yorkshire' (compiled by Joseph Foster, County Families of Yorkshire, (Vols. I - IV W. Wilfred Head, London 1874), gedcom submitted by John Young and Richard Dawnay, merged Jan 17, 2001) Baldricus Teutonicus married a 'Miss de Benefacta', daughter of Richard de Benefacta. I haven't seen the original text of County Families of Yorkshire and I can't document Miss de benefacta in Ancestral File. According to the Latter-day Saints, the wife of Baldricus Teutonicus was a 'Miss de Clare', who may have been a daughter of Richard de Tonbridge de Clare and Rohese Giffard. I've gone along with the LDS pending further research. All the children seem to be the same.
