    Karon M. Reasner, 62, 22295 Decorum Road, Neelyton, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in the Fulton County Medical Center.

    Born June 6, 1945 in Chambersburg, Franklin County; she was a daughter of Mary B. Book Cowan, Sarasota, Fl and the late William L. Cowan.

    She was the Tax Collector for both Dublin Township and the Southern Huntingdon School District. Karon was a member of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, Neelyton, a life member of Newburg-Hopewell Volunteer Fire Company, Newburg, a member of Cumberland Valley Hose Company, Shippensburg and the Martha Custis Chapter # 342 Order of the Eastern Star, Chambersburg. She was a graduate of both Chambersburg Area Senior High School and the Chambersburg Beauty School.

    In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Pierre H. Reasner, whom she married January 4, 1971, four sons, Tony J. Reasner and his companion, Mandy, Upper Strasburg, Troy P. Reasner and his wife, Brenda, Shelby, NC, Pierron P. Reasner and his wife, Nicole, Neelyton and, Tom W. Bumbaugh, West Virginia, a daughter, Stephanie R. McCullough, Chambersburg, a brother, William L. Cowan, Jr., Phoenix, AZ, three sisters, Bonnie K. Renfrew, Chambersburg, Trudy F. Broxen, Sarasota, Fl and, Mary M. "Peg" Killinger, Shippensburg, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Pierson P. Reasner who died February 21, 1993.

    Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9, 2008 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 11 A.M. Officiating will be The Revs. Richard E. and Alice M. Meloy. Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery. The viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 P.M. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, C/O Treasurer Mary Ann Starr, P.O. Box 74, Spring Run, PA 17262.
