John Wildt OSTERGREN Sr.

OSTERGREN, John Wildt Sr., 95, of Mechanicsville, husband of the late Callie Foos Ostergren, departed this life October 14, 2009. He is survived by his daughter, JoAnne Yates and her husband; three sons, John W. Ostergren Jr. and his wife, and twin sons, Robert M. and Howard F. Ostergren; one grandson, two great-grandchildren, one niece and three great-nephews. Mr. Ostergren retired from the Defense General Supply Center after 32 years of service. He was a founding member of Henry Volunteer Fire Department in Hanover. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday in Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ginter Park Presbyterian Church, 3601 Seminary Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227.
