    Saltillo [Huntingdon Co, PA] - James Robert Talbot Sr., 72, Saltillo, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 10, 2011, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. Born January 17, 1939, at Bladdensvurg, [Bladensburg, Prince George's Co.] Md., he was the son of the late George A. and Pearl J. (Minder) Talbot Sr. He was first married to Shirley Jean Collins Reese, who survives, of Sharpsburg, Md. He then married the former Sandra K. Smith April 18, 1979. She survives at their home. He is survived by his sons: James Robert Talbot Jr. and Christopher Glenn Talbot, both of Three Springs; his stepsons: Dennis Gene Collins, Mapleton ,and Kenneth Allen Collins, Everett; 10 grandchildren and a greatgrandchild; three sisters: Virginia K. Phillips, Round Rock, Texas; Edith C. Holland, Porum, Okla., and Rose Minter and her husband, John, Oakwood, Texas. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson; his siblings: George Talbot Jr., Frederick A. Talbot, Charles M. Talbot, Edward J. Talbot, Annie E. Hill, Elsie M. Talbot and Daisy M.Talbot. He was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Saltillo. He was also a member of Waterfall Lodge No. 773, IOOF, Waterfall, and a past member of Saltillo Lions Club and Raystown Striper Club. He had served on the Saltillo Borough Council and was a driver for the Three Springs Ambulance Co. He retired in 2002 as a subcontractor for S& A Homes. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 14, at Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia. Rev. Dan Long officiated. Burial was made at Saltillo Cemetery. Memorial services were by Waterfall Lodge NO. 773, IOOF."
