      Princess Al-Bandari Passes Away

      Riyadh, March 08. Princess Al-Bandari bint Abdulaziz, 80, who was suffering from a disease, died today at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Researches Center, according to statement released by the Royal Court.

      Funeral prayer for the deceased will be performed after Maghreb (sunset) prayers at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque here today.

      RIYADH, 9 March 2008 - Princess Al-Bandari bint Abdul Aziz died at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center here yesterday. She was 80. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, Prince Bandar ibn Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince Sultan and other senior princes and officials as well as a large number of citizens attended funeral prayers for the late princess at Imam Turki ibn Abdullah Mosque here.

      Condolences will be received at Prince Bandar ibn Muhammad's residence, a Royal Court announcement said.

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received at his office at Al-Yamamah Palace at the Royal Court here today a number of princes; senior officials of the Royal Court, the Court of Crown Prince and the Presidency of Cabinet; Senior Commanders and Officers of the Royal Guard; and a group of citizens who came to offer condolences on the death of Princess Al-Bandari bint Abdulaziz.

      The audience was attended by Prince Dr. Mishal bin Abdullah bin Musaed, Adviser to the Crown Prince; Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Adviser at the Court of Crown Prince; and a number of officials.

      Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques performs Funeral Prayer

      Riyadh, March 08, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud performed Funeral Prayer for the deceased Princess Al-Bandari bint Abdulaziz after Maghreb prayer (Sunset) at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque here today .

      The prayer was also performed by Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi; Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz; Prince Bandar bin Mohammed bin Abdulrahman; Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman; Prince Badr bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Commander of the National Guard; Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Interior Minister; Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Abdul-Elah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; and a number of princes.

      The Prayer was led by the Kingdom's General Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Alsheikh; Turki bin Bandar bin Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, son of the deceased Princess; and a number of Ulema, sheikhs, ministers, senior officials and a group of citizens.

      Following the prayers, the King received condolences from princes, Ulema, ministers and groups of worshippers.

      Kuwaiti Amir sends cable of condolences to Saudi King

      KUWAIT, March 9 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, where he expressed deep sorrow for the demise of Princess Albandari Bint Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud, King Abdullah's sister.

      His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere condolences and true sympathy to King Abdullah, praying to the Almighty to rest her soul in heaven and grant patience to the members of their family.
