Text: "Mrs. Ethel Gerow Auctor, 38, mother of ten children, wife of George Auctor of Bush Corners, died suddenly about 7:30 Tuesday night at the home of a brother-in-law, Henry Auctor of Dicobs Corners, where she and her family had spent the day visiting. Mrs. Auctor was taken ill about 4 in the afternoon and died a few hours later. She had been a patient at the Hepburn hospital at Ogdensburg a short time ago, suffering with acute nephritis. Last May she was a patient at the Lewis County General hospital at Lowville. She had been in poor health most of her life. Mrs. Auctor was born in November, 1899, in Michigan, one of five children and oldest daughter of the late Henry and Anna Moshier Gerow. After the death of her father, she moved with her mother to this section. Her mother was later married to George Dicob. Twenty years ago the deceased was married to George Auctor and moved to Bush Corners where she resided until her death. They had ten children whose ages range from seventeen to two, all of whom survive. Survivors include her husband, six sons, Bernard, Kenneth, Paul, Lyle, Clifford and Ronald; four daughters, Anna, Joan Marie, Rita and Ruth, all residing at home; one brother, Leo of Dicobs Corners; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Feisthemal, Mrs. Lenora Benwire, both of Dicobs Corners, Mrs. Leona Shue of Lyons Falls; two half-sisters, Mrs. William Hoffman of Lyons Falls and Mrs. Alma Benwire of Crystal Dale; three half-brothers, Albert, Ray and Roy Dicobs of the town of New Bremen. Mrs. Auctor was a member of the Rosary society of St. Stephen's church Croghan. Members of the society will meet at the church Thursday evening for prayers. Funeral services will be held Friday at the church at 10 a. m. with Rev. Martin O'Kane, pastor officiating. Burial in St. Stephen's cemetery."

    2. Text: "On June 2d at the 6 o'clock a. m. nuptial mass Miss Ethel Gerow and George Auctor were united in marriage by the Rev. Berrard Vogt. They were attended by Miss Bertha Dicob and Vincent Moshier. The bride wore a blue suit with a hat to match, and her maid wore the same color suit with hat to match. After a brief honeymoon Mr. and Auctor will reside at Kirschnerville."
