    1. Text: "John J. Dicob, 66, a resident of New Bremen died at the Lewis county general hospital at 11:25 Friday evening after a 17 day illness resulting from a diabetic condition. Mr. Dicob was born in New Bremen July 11, 1879, a son of Claud and Armida Hulridge Dicob. Surviving are his widow, Lillian Phillips Dicob, and three children, Albert of Herkimer, Mrs. Lila Hamlin, Utica, and Mrs. Frank (Minnie) Williams of Lowville. There is one sister, Mrs. James Forbes of Copenhagen and seven grandchildren. The body was removed to the Virkler Funeral home where services were held on Monday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. C. J. Frazier of the Methodist church officiated Burial was made in New Bremen."
