    From the Saint John Courier of October 15, 1812 - Melancholy accident. Drowned at Kennebecasis on the 2 inst., Mr. Seth Benson, an old and respectable inhabitant of Kings County. He was unfortunately drowned when in the act of getting out of a wood boat into a canoe which upset.
