    Reported by Loda Duckworth to be the oldest of 8 children. The Morgan family moved to Tennessee when Emily was 12, according to the family history Loda wrote. Emily had two brothers killed in the Civil War according to Loda. If one was the John age 18 in 1850, what was the other one's name? Emily took Caroline Moseley, one of her aunt's little girls when she was 11, to help her with her children.
    1880 Claiborne Parish LA census (ED 14 p 25 #224) lists Emily Kilpatrick 61 VA (both parents born VA); James 23 b Texas ; Dennis 20 Tex or Ten; and Salley 28 born Tennessee. Also in the home was Caroline Mosly age 43 b Virginia (both parents born VA).
