Although her headstone says she was 96 when she died, to the best of my
calculations from various other sources she should have only been 86.
Also, from the headstone transcription I received from Connie Schofield
as well as other clues from various sources her death year would appear
to be 1906. However, the book titled Births, Deaths and Marriages by
Dixie Woodard says she died June 6, 1912 in Cherokee County.
She was re-admitted to the Cherokee Nation (O klahoma) June 3rd 1888

The 1850 Carroll Co. census lists Andrew under Richard. I am sure it is
the same family.
Family story is that Andrew was killed early in the Civil War, going to
enlist in Mo. or after enlistment.
Definitely he is not around after the War.

In 1900 andy Hampton said his father was born in S. carolina...so
before Tenn. I think they may have been is S. Carolina!
