Dominick J. Raimondo died April 8, 2006. He was born September 23, 1915 in Dobbs Ferry, son of Antonio and Stella Marie (Yozzo) Raimondo. In 1941 he maried Angeline Riolo. She died in 1999. During WW II he served in Italy in the 5th U.S. Army Medical Corps. He was a longtime resident of Irvington and was a 50 year member of the Irvington Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and a retired Foreman from the Irvington Parks and Recreation Department. Surviving are his children, Daniel, Gary and Louis Raimondo, Marie Freudenberg and Renee Belliveau, 14 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, brothers Nicholas and Anthony, sisters Katherine Dazzo and Agnes DeCrenza. His sister Victoria and brother Joseph predeceased him. Mass of the Resurrection 10 AM, Tuesday, Immaculate Conception Church Irvington. Visiting Sunday, 7 to 9 PM and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the IVFD.
