      Note: Burial #14 in the parish register for 1876. Association of this burial record with this individual is based on his name and approximate age at the time of burial. No other persons are mentioned in the burial record so it is not possible to conclusively connect this event to this individual. However, since Elie Robert, the son of this individual was living in the Black Brook area near Keesville at the time of this burial, I believe this association is valid. Jacques was living in the parish of Saint-Michel, Québec at the time of his spouse burial in 1869 and he likely moved to New York state to live with his son Elie at some point following that time.

(Boiler plate wording here indicating that the parents consent to the marriage and that there is no reason that marriage should not be consumated.) Present at the ceremony are Joseph Robert and Louis Robert, brothers of the groom, Pierre Tremblais, friend of the grroom, Charles Vinchestein, father, Pierre Vinchestein, brother, and Joseph Faille, friend of the groom.
