He ws a retired oilfield worker. Survivors include four sons, James M., John R. and Paul Jordan, all of Corpus Christi, and William C. Jordan of Lake Jackson (Texas); one sister, Mrs. Gertie Mae Scoggins of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Dick Jordan of Sweeney (Texas); 14 grandchildren and threee great-grandchildren.
