Hist of Chester, p328 . . . She was a teacher 20 yrs. p139 She commenced teaching 18 May 1846 in Atkinson and taught in Chester and surrounding towns. During the 6 termsshe taught in Dist #1 in Chester (1858-9) she had the care of from 62 - 82 scholars each term. More than a thousand names were on her list of those who had come under her instruction. She married Samuel Harriman of Raymond. After his death she married Mr Prescott of Raymond.
