"Whereas in Aug 1795 I lodged in the hands of my brother THOMAS MOO RE of Harrison County, KY. $ 1,971 for which I took bond for the purcha se of land. In 1797 I received a letter from THOMAS MOORE in which he said he laid o ut money for land in KY. I gave him the $1,971 for the land purchas ed in my name. To my brother AUGUSTINE MOORE of Washington County, PA $139.00 th at he owes me on bond. To my nephew RICHARD CAULK who has moved to upper Louisiana on the Mi sura River $140 that he owes me on bond. To my nephew ISAAC CAULK a ll my real estate and he to pay Mary Battershell (my housekeeper) $24. 00 annually during her life.
