    I'm not sure Richard Travell is correct in saying that this George Tuff in is the same one that shows up in Lancashire [Crabtree Farm, Gateacre ne ar Liverpool]. I think that the George Tuffin in the 1881 Census is the Il legitimate son of Elizabeth Tuffin bap. Jan 5 1823 dau. of Thomas Tuff in & Sybil Brown. For now I will assume he is correct.
