(This date shown in ROSTER OF OHIO SOLDIERS 1861-1866; however, the first letter we have is dated 21 Jun 1862 from Maryland Heights, Maryland, describing a battle at Winchester; so he obviously had enlisted prior to the 22 Aug 1862 date.) Co I, 122dOVI, Sergeant, promoted to First Sergeant 1 Feb 1865. Mustered out with company 26 June 1865. Wounded in arm June 3, 1864. Click on the photo to see a larger version.
