Also have a marriage record for a Matilda Wiseman and a Blackburn Hall. Has marriage date as 4 May 1855. Lawrence County Arkansas. This could be James B. and the dates could work.

From: Don Ott <dott@centurytel.net> Subject: Stephens - Steven - Hall - Wiseman Family Jim M. Date: Friday, July 20, 2007 22:26:37 I have always thought that Matilda who first married Glover Davenport Wiseman before she married James B. Hall, was the daughter of Samuel M. Rowan and Rebecca Blessing. Samuel and Rebecca are already in Fulton Co. for the 1850 Census and Matilda is also there married to Davenport Wiseman. The other children of Samuel and Rebecca are also born in Alabama. Don
From: Don Ott <dott@centurytel.net> Peggy, I believe the Sophronia Wiseman living with Wiley King is: 1850 Census Arkansas, Fulton, Glover Davenport Wiseman b. 1825 TN is married to Matilda A. (Rowan), they have no children. Glover's mother was a Davenport. I am not sure if Glover died but Sophronia was born 24 Feb 1851. Looks like Matilda remarried, probably about 1856? judging by the 3 year old girl in 1860 Census. 1860 Census, Arkansas, Lawrence, Richwoods Matilda is married to James B. Hall 38 TN, and they have a girl Safrona 8 AR, (Listed as a Hall). Safronia was the daughter of Glover Davenport Wiseman and Matilda Rowan
1870 Census Arkansas, Fulton, Pleasant Ridge. Saphronia Wiseman is living with Wiley King and just a few doors down in the same census is James F. Montgomery 18 NC, the son of Samuel Montgomery.
1880 Census Arkansas, Fulton, Pleasant Ridge James F. Montgomery and wife Soprona D. Looks like that may be the person you had a question about. I do not know of a blood relationship. Don Ott
Re: [ARIZARD] Wiley KING / Sophronia WISEMAN Sent By: Jim and Judy Montgomery Aug 08/17/08 5:59 PM To: arizard@rootsweb.com Wiley King was maried to Mary Rowen, sister to Matilda, Sophronia's mother. Until recently Jim and I were just speculating as to the relationship between Sophonia and the King family. We are happy to tie up another loose end. Matilda married James Blackburn Hall May 5, 1855 in Lawrence County, Arkansas. Glover's mother was Martha Moore. Grandmother was Cordia Davenport, and his great-grandmother was Mary Davenport. Judie
E-mail from Mike at Michael Gilbreath" <MichaelGilbreath@hargray.com> 29 November 2009 To find the line your looking for go through: Melissa Lawson (B: 1949) - Coy Lawson (B: 1920) - Margaret Snider (1876-1946) - Sarah E. Hall (1847 - 1907) - James Blackburn Hall. Coy thought that James Blackburn Hall was married to Matilda Weisman but I think I heard from another relative (Glenda Cashmer) that Matilda's maiden name was Jinsey. Please read all the notes and explanations attached to our tree. Apparently there were two families with similar names down this line! Glenda Cashmer saw the bible of Nathaniel L. Hall (Elijah Halll's son and James Blackburn Hall's brother) and I think that's where most of the corrected information came from. Regards, Michael Gilbreath CC: Glenda Cashmer
E-mail reply 6 Dec 2009 to Hi Mike and Glenda I have some notes to where and how we came to the conclusions we have. Thanks for your comments. JIM Montgomery
Reference James Blackburn HALL and wife Jinsey and Matilda
Matilda and Jinsey were two different people. My reason for saying this is the 1850 census for Monroe County, Tennessee has James B. HALL and JINSEY as husband and wife. At the same time the Fulton County, Arkansas Census has MATILDA A. and Davenport WISEMAN as husband and wife
See census below Also there is a marriage record for Matilda Wiseman and James Blackburn Hall Lawrence County, Arkansas. This shows Matilda Wiseman & Blackburn Hall married on 4 May 1855 and that it is recorded in book B on page 133.

Also Sarah Emaline Hall would be the daughter of Jinsey not Matilda . Last name for Jinsey we do not know. I base this on the 1850 Tennessee census that she is born in Tennessee while Glover Davenport WISEMAN, my great Grandpaw and Matilda A. was married per 1850 Arkansas census records
