    SYLVESTER PAYNE b. probably after 1761 by 1775 Camden Parish Records Pittsylvania Co. VA which show Phillip Payne and Sylvester Payne, sons of John, dec'd were apprenticed to John Walters 16 July 1782. This would surely indicate he was at least age seven. Could have moved with the John Walters who moved to Franklin Co.. GA.
    Could be 1820 Franklin Co. TN Sylvester Payne 26 t0 45
