Families, Vol. III, Tilden of Scitua te, pg 513: Lydia (Huckstep) Tilden, was bapt. at Tenterde n on February 11, 1587, The dau of Stephen and Winifred (Ha tch) Huckstep, who were m. at Tenterden on February 14,1584 /5. Winifred Hatch was a dau. of Thomas and Joan Hatch o f Tenterden, and, at the time of her marriage to Stephen Hu ckstep, was the widow of Richard Wills whom she had m. on J une 18, 1576. Stephen Huckstep, father of Mrs. Tilden wa s buried at Tenterden June 20, 1633. Lydia Tylden's uncle , John Huckstep, in his will, made November 4, 1624, left 5 p to "my kinswoman Lydia Tilden, wife of Nathaniel Tilden."
