    ----MRS. SILVERTHORN DEAD AT LOTHROP----
    ----New Lothrop, Michigan, January 23, 1919 - Mrs. Malind a Silverthorn died at her home here early Sunday morning fo llowing a 21 months illness of paralysis. Mrs. Silverthor n suffered her first stroke in April 1917, and since been c onfined to her bed. The second stroke came last Friday. Sh e was 77 years old and her husband, Gideon Silverthorn, die d about 35 years ago.
    Mrs. Silverthorn leaves three sons, John, of Six Mile C reek; Albert, of California, and Alonzo, of here; five daug hters, Mrs. Emma Snyder of Detroit, Mrs. Sadie Parshell o f Saginaw, and Mrs. Georgianna Confer, Mrs. Mary Confer an d Mrs. Laura Nelson of this place; one sister, Mrs. Hobso n of Caro, Michigan and one brother, John Mott of Detroit.
