  • Note: Sarah Batte [1762.7.7] was named as the wife John Jones [71 30.5.4] in his will(will dated 9 Mar. 1742/43, recorded 1 7 Aug. 1743) in Surry County. He called her father “Willia m Batte,” so we presume she was the daughter of William Bat te[1762.7] and she died before he wrote his will.
