    "Her marriage intention shows that Hester Mahieu was from C anterbury, England, and was accompanied by her mother Jenni e Mahieu and her sister Jennie Mahieu.

    In his book "Hypocrisie Unmasked", Edward Winslow stated sh e was a "Walloone" and came from the French. She was admitt ed to the French Reformed Church in Leiden in 1603 (Mayflow er Descendant 27:145).

    She died between 8 June 1666, when her husband's heirs mad e agreement, and 18 December 1675, when grandson John Wrigh t made his will. "
