  • Note: According to the line, Avis was daughter of Richard by Avis , daughter of Reginald Earl of Cornwall, b. 1040. But thi s is impossible as Reginald wasn't born until 1110, so I a m ignoring the mother indicated in the line. Paul Davis qu estioned the dates involved as well.
