!from his granddaughter Priscilla Cross's notes, they left Kirkbythore, England 5/10/1822 an d came to Baltimore, Maryland 7/10/1822-I believe they were on the Mary, but those records fo r Baltimore for the time period in which they arrived were burned in a fire in the early hal f of this century. all I have is an index from "Passenger Arrivals in the Port of Baltimore , Maryland", which lists four R. Atkinson's and one Rob. Atkinson. there is no way of ever b eing certain.
