IRMA MAY SWIGER
Irma May Swiger, 65, Hancock, died Dec. 16th at Berlin Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1917, in Boscobel, the daughter of Carl and Bertha Walker. She married Joseph Swiger. Survivors include her mother, two daughters, Barbara Challoner and ARdith Ostrander; one son, Carl Joseph Swiger, Jr.; two sisters, Ardith Gau and JoAnn Challoner, 19 Grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966.
Funeral services were held Dec. 18 at Grace Lutheran church in the town of Deerfield, with the Rev. Kenneth Wieting officiating. Burial was in the Hancock Cemetery. Friends called Dec. 17th at Hamilton Funeral Home, Hancock.
