The Crossman Genealogy book gives this person as the wife of Robert Crossman. However, it gives her father as Nathaniel Thayer. No mother is listed. The Savage book lists her as a daughter of Nathaniel. However, the Thayer book lists a Richard Thayer with Nathaniel as a son and Joannah as a duaghter. No other Nathaniels are given. The birth date of Joannah is given as 13 December 1685. This is the same date given for Joanna the daughter of Richard Thayer in the Thayer book. Apparently the Taunton vital records (I have not seen these records) give the birth date of this woman and list Nathaniel as the father. Nathaniel the brother of Joannah was only seven years old on this date.
For the time being I am using Richard Thayer and Dorothy Pray as the parents of Joanna.
