DANNA LEE GALE TEMPLIN

1959 ~ 2003 Danna Lee Gale Templin, 43, was born on September 24, 1959 . Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin , friend and teacher Danna Lee Gale Templin passed away o n Tuesday, July 22, 2003 from complications related to a lo ng valiant struggle with Breast Cancer.


Danna graduated from Beaver High School in 1978. She was ve ry active in FHA and girls sports where she played on Stat e Championship teams in softball and volleyball. Danna move d to Orem in 1979. She attended school, worked at Jolene' s clothing factory and was Assistant Manager at A&W restaur ant. Danna met Brian at a BYU Singles Ward, they also live d in the same apartment building. Danna and Brian were marr ied in the St. George Temple June 17, 1983. Danna certifie d as a Montessori teacher and director and was the directo r of Edgemont Montessori School in Provo. Danna enjoyed tea ching children and had a golden touch of patience with them . She was also the director of Montessori Schools of Spokan e, North Branch in Spokane, Washington and Cottonwood Canyo n Montessori in Salt Lake City, Utah. Danna loved teachin g children and adults in the Montessori method of teaching . Danna worked in the classroom for over 16 years. Brian co ntinued at BYU and both Brian and Danna were involved wit h the BYU Ballroom Dance Tour Teams.
Danna enjoyed and loved her family and all of the activitie s they were able to do. Her favorites were being outside, c amping, hunting, fishing, hiking and gardening. She also loved to cook and sew. Danna has many family, rela tives and friends that she loved to visit.
Danna is survived be her husband Brian Wayne Templin and he r four children Tiffany Nichelle (18), Brianna Lisa (16), J effrey Wayne (12), and Nicole Anna (11). She is also surviv ed by her parents Arnell and Karen Gale of Beaver, UT; Brot hers and Sisters: Jody (Cindy) Gale of Annabella, UT; Cheri ce (Larry) Hawkins of Santaquin, UT; Kathryn Gale of Orem , UT; Gyle (Renae) Gale of Orem, UT; Troy (Christy) Gale o f Beaver, UT; Kathy (Kory) Gunnell of Lake Stevens, WA; Rog er (Angela) Templin of Everett, WA. Also 27 nieces and neph ews.
Preceded in death by her grandparents; Leland Stanford an d Virginia Banks Beaumont of Beaver, UT, James Albert and M artha Alice Talbot Gale of Beaver, UT and her parents-in-la w: Wendell Wayne and Barbara Louise Templin of Washington s tate. Danna was an active member of The Church of Jesus Chr ist of Latter Day Saints. She served in many callings and l oved serving others. She loved Girls Camp, Relief Society , Primary and Boy Scouts. Danna loved to attend the Temple . Danna had many friends in her ward (Kenwood II) and stak e (Salt Lake Wilford) that she admired and loved. Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 25, 2003, at 1 2:00 noon, at the Grandview LDS Ward Building, 2930 S. 200 0 E. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 6:0 0 P.M. to 8:00 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 230 0 E. Salt Lake City, and at the church on Friday morning fr om 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Intermen t: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: Holbroo k Mortuary.
