    APRIL 3, 1986

    Walter Templin, 67, of 1620 Brewer Street, died Friday evening in Angelo Community Hospital.

    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Joe Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home.

    Templin was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Bay City. He had lived in San Angelo since 1948, and was a retired concrete finisher.

    Walter Templin and Lillian Beatrice Simpson were married April 22, 1939, in Coleman.

    Survivors include his wife, Lillian of the home; two sons, Walt Templin and Troy Templin, both of San Angelo; two daughters, Reda Echols of Lamesa and Linda Landers, both of San Angelo; one sister, Freda Sutton of Shreveport, La; six brothers, Albert Templin of Cameron, John Templin of Shreveport, La., Willie Templin of West Lake, Ore., Paul Templin of Coleman, Fritz Templin of Brownwood and Robert Lee "Jake" Templin of Abilene; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

    Pallbearers will be grandsons, Rocky Templin, Don Templin, Walt Landers, Lonny Landers, Wayne Swaringin and Wed Wooden.
