Note: === Old Rappahannock County Deeds and Wills, 1665-1677; Antient Press; pg 129-131 IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen I JOHN DEYOUNG of the County of Rappa and Parish of Farnham being very weake in body but of Sound and perfect memory doe heere make my last Will and Testament as followeth Imp. I bequeath my Soule to God that gave it in hopes of a sure and certaine resurrection in and through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour and my body to be buried in such decent manner as my Friends hereafter named shall think meet and my worldly goods in manner and form following Item I give unto my Daughter ELIZABETH DEYOUNG two Cowes & all my whole Stock of hoggs which shall happen to be after my decease and also one Steer of lower years old Item It is my will that the rest of my whole Stock of Cattle both male and feemale bee equally devided between my fower Children Vizt: ELIZABETH, ANN, HONOUR and JOHN DEYOUNG Item I give unto JOHN DEYOUNG my long Gunn Item I do moreover give unto my Daughter ELIZABETH my best feather bed with the rugg and blanketts belonging thereunto.
