IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen I JOHN DEYOUNG of the County of Rappa and Parish of Farnham being very weake in body but of Sound and perfect memory doe heere make my last Will and Testament as followeth
Imp. I bequeath my Soule to God that gave it in hopes of a sure and certaine resurrection in and through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour and my body to be buried in such decent manner as my Friends hereafter named shall think meet and my worldly goods in manner and form following
Item I give unto my Daughter ELIZABETH DEYOUNG two Cowes & all my whole Stock of hoggs which shall happen to be after my decease and also one Steer of lower years old
Item It is my will that the rest of my whole Stock of Cattle both male and feemale bee equally devided between my fower Children Vizt: ELIZABETH, ANN, HONOUR and JOHN DEYOUNG
Item I give unto JOHN DEYOUNG my long Gunn
Item I do moreover give unto my Daughter ELIZABETH my best feather bed with the rugg and blanketts belonging thereunto.
Item I doe give the remainder of my goods & moveables to be equally devided betweene my abovesd Children ELIZABETH, ANNE, JOHN & HONOUR DEYOUNG Item I give my land unto my Sonne JOHN DEYOUNG
Item It is my will that my Stock nor other Estate bee noe waies removed of the land if possibly it may he prevented
Item It is my will that my Daughter ELIZABETH together with my Brot. in Law GEORGE KNOTT and my Friend THOMAS FRESHWATER doe after my decease take care to see this my last Will and Testamt, in all particulars as neare as may bee performed and first before my legacies bee paid as aforesd my debts bee paid and satisfied and in confirmation of the prmises I have heerunto sett my hand and Seale this 5th of March 1671/2
