    Indenture, 6 Jan 1731; Between John Sasser, and Christian his wife, late Christian Gibbons, of the first part and Thomas Gibbons, s/o George Gibbons; for £20; [another part of the document says to Thomas Gibbons, s/o above George Gibbons]; part of a tract called Barton's Hope; bounded by a fork of Zachia Branch; containing 100 acres now in possession of George Gibbons which "she the said Christian should or ought to have by and after the decease of the said George Gibbons which said land and premises with the appurtenances Thomas Gibbons late father of the said Christian" willed to George for life with immediate reversion to Christian; /s/ John Sassar, Christian Sassar (mark); wit.
