1820 - Benjamin Burch is in the 1820 Census of Ohio Co., Ky., as follows:
--Benjamin Burch, age 45 or older
--female [wife Chloe], age 45 or older
--male, age 18-26
--female, age 10-16
--2 females, age 0-10
6 slaves.
Comment: Benjamin is the only Birch/Burch in the 1820 Census of Ohio Co., Ky. There is no Burch/Birch in the 1820 Census of Breckinridge Co., Ky.

1840 - Chloe Burch, age 60-70, is living with her dau. Nancy and son-in-law William Tuttle in the 1840 Census of Breckinridge Co., Ky.

1850 - Chloe Burch is in the 1850 Census of District 2, Breckinridge Co., Ky., p. 3, dwelling no. 33, as follow:
--William Tuttle, age 45, stonemason
--Nancy Tuttle, age 38
--Mary E. Tuttle, age 12
--James F. Tuttle, age 10
--Alexander Tuttle, age 8
--Charity A. Tuttle, age 5
--Francis Tuttle, age 1
--Chloe Burch, age 80, b. Md.
Comment: Living next to William Tuttle in this Census is Chloe's son James F. Burch.

1850 - Cassandra Keenan is in the 1850 Census of District 2, Breckinridge Co., Ky., p. 3, dwelling no. 26, as follows:
--Cassandra Keenan, age 65, b. Md., value of real estate $400.
--John Keenan, age 40, farmer.
Comment: On this same page of the Census, dwelling no. 33, is Chloe Burch, widow of Benjamin Burch. In 1852, the widow Cassandra sold the family farm to son John Keenan who never married.

1860 - Cloe Birch, age 89, blind, b. Md., is living with her dau. Nancy and son-in-law William Tuttle in the 1860 Census of Breckinridge Co., Ky.
