    Bequeaths to:
    1 William M. Lansdale --son
    -testator desires that his business in Queen Anne Town be conducted under the
    firm of Lansdale & Clagett --prosecuted and continued until the 1st of May 1804
    by his son as if testator was still alive and son is to act as his substitute in order to keep the firm alive and all that all estate read, mixed and personal to be considered as liable for the transactions and that the whole profits of the said transactions on testator's part or on the part of William are to be taken as part of the estate generally and not to vest in him
    -to have $20,000 and testator's gold watch to keep as a memorial of his father
    2. Cornelia Lansdale --daughter
    Violetta Lansdale -daughter
    Eliza Lansdale --daughter
    Phillip Lansdale --son
    -testator's 5 children to have 20 lots in the City of ‘Vashington as described in the
    deeds
    -each to have an equal portion share and share alike

    4. Cornelia Lansdale --wife
    -to have all of testator's real estate lying in the town of Queen Anne for her widowhood or single life and should she remarry, then the real estate to testator's son William
    -to have the sum of $16,000
    -to have all. Negroes, stock, all household furniture, kitchen furniture, carriage, horses and the money in the house at the time of testator's decease except for certificates -testator desires that his 5 children reside with their mother until they arrive at the age
    of 21 and the interest on the sums devised to them to be applied to their maintenance -remainder of the estate to be divided among testator's 5 children

    Codicil to the will:
    1. "Daniel" --servant
    -to have put out such money at interest as will produce 10 pounds per year for him for his natural life
    -testator desires that he continue to serve testator's widow for her widowhood only and upon her remarriage then to either testator's son William or Phillip
    2. Testator's children
    -in case any of testator's children marry without the approbation of their mother such child shall forego his or her legacies and that the "Portion or Portions of Such
    Disobedient child or Children Sall lapse into a hotch-pot Share and Share alike among and for the sole benefit of the rest of the children" Testator's desire is to "prevent
    that Disobedience and neglect which so frequently result ro Parents from the entire independence of their Children as well as to ensure the advice of maternal Experience and affection in So important an affair as that of Matrimony."

    1. Thomas Landsale -son
    -to have 10,000 lbs of tobacco and 1 feather bed and turn.
    2. Margaret Boyd --daughter
    -testatrix's son Thomas to hold in trust for her 10,000 lbs of tobacco which is to he sold for ready money and the money to be kept in the hands of Thomas for the use of daughter and her children and the interest arising from the money to be paid to her annually and at her decease the principal to be divided among her children share and share alike
    -to have 1 feather bed and furn.
    3. William Lansdale --son
    -to have Negro boy "Sandy" -to have 1 feather bed and furn.
    4. Isaac Lansdale --son
    -to have all of testatrix's real estate on condition
    -to have Negro man "George- Negro woman "Phillis" and Negro girl "Ann"
    Negro woman '`Clem" Negro girls "Beck" "Nan" and Negro boy -Peter-
    -to have 1 feather bed and furn.
    - -to have all stock of horses, cattle. sheep and hogs, all plantation utensils and household furniture not mentioned
    -remainder of the estate to be appraised and the value of the estate to be divided amongst testatrix's 6 children share and share alike
    -Thomas, William, and Isaac to be executors of the will
    5. Elizabeth Lansdale --daughter
    Henrietta Lansdale -daughter
    -testatrix's son Isaac to pay to them the sum of 500 pounds current money to be divided between the two of them
    -Elizabeth to have mulatto man "Bob" mulatto woman "Yellow Bett" and all of her children
    -Elizabeth and Henrietta each to have 1 feather bed and furn
    -Henrietta to have Negro woman 'Sue" Negro girl "Lydia"
    -both to have divided between them all of testatrix's state certificates amounting to 800 or 900 pounds current money and all the interest thereon and also to have testatrix's riding chair, bay horse. all silver plate
