    and for divers other good causes, all that tract of land in CC called Puttney, being a certain tract of land conveyed to William Gody decd, grandfather of the afd John Gody, by George Diamond and Mary Diamond, his wife, as by deed dated Apr 21, 1712, and recorded in CC Liber D No 2 folias 15 & 16, bounded by a place where formerly stood a bounded Spanish oak near the plantation of the late John Gwinn decd, which tree is now gone to decay, it being the reputed bound tree of the land of the late Colo John Douglass deed called Blackwood, thence to a parcel of land formerly granted to Jonathan Marloe, late of Maryland and now in possession of Charles Yates, then to a parcel of land granted to William Jenkins and now in the possession of Joseph Gwinn, containing about 80 acres.
