    2/29/1812: Died: Mrs. Jane Hanson, relict of John Hanson, esq. Delegate from Md. in the old Rev Congress & Pres of that body in Philadelphia, 1781-1782.
    Mrs. H. died at Fredericktown, February 21, in the 85th year of her age. ((National Intelligencer Abstracts, 1814-1817).

    Mar 12, 1744[/5] from John Hanson Youngest (son of Samuel Hanson, late deceased) of CC, to Jane Contee of Prince Georges County (widow), for 400 £ sterling and for divers good causes, the moiety or half part of a certain tract of land in CC, called Rozers Refuge, bounded by the east side of Portobacco Cr, the head of Saint Johns Branch, containing and laid out for about 561 acres. Signed - John Hanson Ys. Wit - Robt Hanson, Walter Hanson, John Howard, Pet: Contee. Jane, the wife of the said John Hanson Yst, released her dower.

    Apr 12-, 1746 from John Hanson Youngest of CC, Gent, son to Samuel Hanson, late of CC, Gent, deceased, to Samuel Hanson Jr. of cc, Gent, son to the afd deceased Samuel Hanson, for 70 £ sterling, and also for divers good causes, a tract of land in CC called Herefordshire, bounded by the east side of the road that goes from Major Dent's Quarter on Mattawoman [Cr] to the head of Portobacco [Cr] in the line of Pangiah Manor, containing and laid out for about 150 acres. Also 35 acres, part of a tract called Addition to Hereford containing 70 acres on which 35 acres were bequeathed to afd John Hanson by above mentioned Samuel Hanson, late of CC, deceased, as per his will. Hanson reserves for the use of the heirs of Robert Taylor, late of CC, deceased, 10 square feet on the premises, being the burying place where the late wife of sd Robert Taylor lies interred, and which shall remain with the heirs of sd Robert Taylor. Jul 30, 1759 from John Hanson Jr of CC, to Hezekiah Reeves (Revel) of CC, for 25 £ 9 shillings and 6 pence and 1110-3/4 lbs of tobacco and also for the payment of all cost which have or may accrue on a scire facias issued against sd John Hanson Jr as special bail for Thomas Reeves at the suit of Francis Parnham (provided sd cost does not amount to more than 280 lbs of tobacco) and for divers other good causes, Hanson sells to Hezekiah Reeves, during the natural life of afd Thomas Reeves of CC, planter, all that tract of land in CC called Reeveses Range, containing about 100 acres. Nov 25, 1769 from John Hanson Jr of CC, to William Hanson of Talbot County, for 1291 lbs 10 shillings and for divers other good causes, part of a tract of land in CC whereon sd John Hanson Jr now lives, called Rozers Refuge, bounded by the east side of Portobacco Cr near a small marsh, the woods, a dividing line between sd John Hanson Jr and Jane Contee, containing about 603 acres. Excepted is the graveyard on the top of the hill near the dwelling house, where are several tombstones, containing about 25 feet square. John Hanson Jr warrants 574 acres of the above mentioned land.
