    John Franklin Mowrer Dies Very Suddenly
    John Franklin Mowrer, aged 67 years, retired farmer, died very suddenly at 8 o'clock Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cecelia Miller, High st., Lodi.
    Mr. Mowrer is survived by his wife, Amanda; two daughters, Mrs. Della Schwan, Wooster; and Mrs. Miller; three sons, Charles of Richfield; and Chester and Harry of Wooster; and by eight grandchildren.
    The body will lie in state at Overton church one hour before the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Elwood Levers will officiate. Burial will be made in Overton cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Bevington Funeral Home in Wooster Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.

    OBITUARY
    John Franklin Mowrer, son of Benjamin and Megdaline Mowrer, was born in Congress township, Wayne Co. Ohio, April 5th, 1879. He passed away Oct. 12th, 1946. Age 67 years 6 months and 7 days. He was united in marriage May 10th, 1913, to Amanda Kathern Finn. Five childen survive, Cecilia Miller, Lodi, Della Mae Schaum, Wooster, Charles Mowrer, Litchfileld, Chester Mowrer, Wooster, and Harry Mowrer, Wooster.
    He is survived by his wife, five children, eight grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters. He lived his entire life in Wayne County, until one year ago when he moved to Lodi, Medina County. During the greater part of his life, he enjoyed good health until June 1946, when he underwent an operation in Lodi Hospital. Seemingly to be on the road to good health again, on the eve of Oct. 12th, he was stricken by a heart ailment and passed away. He will be greatly missed by his family and a large host of friends.
