ÙCbÙDRutpert (Robert) IIIÙC/bÙD (800– 834) was the Count of ÙCuÙDWorms </wiki/Worms,_Germany>ÙC/uÙD and ÙCuÙDRheingau </wiki/Rheingau>ÙC/uÙD of the illustrious ÙCuÙDFrankish </wiki/Frankish>ÙC/uÙD family called the ÙCuÙDRobertians </wiki/Robertians>ÙC/uÙD. He was the son of ÙCuÙDRobert of Hesbaye </wiki/Robert_of_Hesbaye>ÙC/uÙD.
By his wife ÙCuÙDWaldrada of Worms ÙC/uÙD he had his only recorded son ÙCuÙDRobert the Strong ÙC/uÙD. His niece was ÙCuÙDErmengard ÙC/uÙD, wife of the Frankish emperor ÙCuÙDLouis the Pious ÙC/uÙD. His cousin ÙCuÙDChrodogang <ÙC/uÙD was Archbishop of Metz and abbot of the ÙCuÙDLorsch Abbey ÙC/uÙD. An uncle of Robert was Count ÙCuÙDCancor ÙC/uÙD, founder of the Lorsch Abbey. Via Robert the Strong he was grandfather of two kings of ÙCuÙDWestern Francia ÙC/uÙD named ÙCuÙDOdo ÙC/uÙD and ÙCuÙDRobert ÙC/uÙD He was the great-great-grandfather of ÙCuÙDHugo Capet ÙC/uÙD, the founder of the ÙCuÙDCapetian dynasty>ÙC/uÙD that ruled ÙCuÙDFrance ÙC/uÙD until the ÙCuÙDFrench Revolution ÙC/uÙD.
