He was the son of ÙCuÙDRobert of Hesbaye </wiki/Robert_of_Hesbaye>ÙC/uÙD. By his wife ÙCuÙDWaldrada of Worms ÙC/uÙD he had his only recorded son ÙCuÙDRobert the Strong ÙC/uÙD.
