    July 3, 1770. Jno. Waller, Clk. of Spts. Co., and Ann, his wife, to John Lewis, Oliver Towles and John Chew of same Co. In trust. 600 a. in Spts. Co., remainder of a larger tract, which sd. tract sd. John and Ann Waller hold in right of the sd. Ann, which sd. tract descended from Parmenas Bowker to his son, Ralph Bowker (his eldest son and heir) and on the death of sd. Ralph, which occurred before he arrived at age and without any issue, was vested in his (Ralph's) sister, Ann (now Ann Waller, etc.), the remainder of sd. tract being held by Wm. Smith and Ann, his wife, in right of the sd. Ann Smith, for her dower as widow of sd. Parmenas Bowker, etc., the sd. tract is whereon the sd. Jno. Waller now hath his plantation and slaves, with his overseer, Bernard Carter, living thereon, etc. Also slaves, horses, cattle, goods and chattels, etc. In trust for indemnifying the sd. Lewis, Towles and Chew, etc., etc. Mentions debts, etc. Witnesses, Jos. Brock, Robert Chew, Sherod Horn. Novr. 17, 1770.
