STRADER

Mrs. Annette Carter Strader, 63, a resident of 4112 Murphy School Rd., died early Sunday morning at Spring Arbor of Durham. Mrs. Strader was a native of Rockingham Co. and was the daughter of the late Howard C. and Virginia Smith Carter. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.

The Rev. Kevin Wilson will conduct a funeral service Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Clements Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clements Funeral Home Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:00.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Andrew Strader Sr.; a daughter, Sandy S. Griggs, of Durham; a son, Andy Strader, of Hurdle Mills; two brothers, John Carter, of Atlanta, and Richard Carter, of Greensboro; and four grandchildren, Drew Strader, Wesley Strader, Will Griggs, and Grayson Griggs.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that friends make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, District Office, 3500 Westgate Dr., Ste 201, Durham, N.C. 27707.
