Miss Ella Agnes Jay
Miss Ella Agnes Jay, aged 68 years, 4 months and 20 days, died at her home on East First street, Everett, on August 8, 1940, death following a lengthy illness.
Born March 18, 1872, she was the daughter of David and Mathilda (Shipley) Jay, both deceased.
Miss Jay was a member of the Christian church. Surviving are four sisters, Misses Nancy Jay and Dora Jay, Mrs. Ezra Conlon and Mrs. Viola Barndollar, all of Everett, and four brothers, Albert Jay, of Clearfield, Alva Jay, of Clearville, R.D. 1, Ira Jay, of Clearfield, and Elmer E. Jay, of Philadelphia.
Funeral services were held Sunday morning, August 11, 1940, at 10:30 o'clock at the Pine Grove Union Church, Rev. Robert M. Kimball officiating. Interment was in the Pine Grove Union cemetery in charge of [remainder cut off]. ________________________________
