The Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Hanly, deceased
In the name of God, Amen; I, Elizabeth Hanly of Taylor Township, Blair County, State of Penn. being in feeble health of body but of sound mind, memory, and understanding, and the uncertainty of life, do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament, and revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made, First. I direct that my funeral shall be conducted without pomp, and that the expences thereof, together with my just debts be fully paid. I give and bequeath Twenty Dollars to the Brethren of the Dunker Church for the use of said Church. I give and bequeath to my beloved Grand Son Theoloufes Niswonger, a promissory note I hold against Michael Reacy, Dated Feby 24th 1860, thirty five Dollars is the amount of said note with interest on the same. S*** after my Death I direct my Executor hereafter named to appraise all my goods stocks chattels merchandise and household furniture and make public sale of the same and paid my funeral expences, and my just debts, - and the one half o fthe money after all debt paid remain in the hands of my Executor for the use of my husband Samuel Hanley to be paid to him as he needs it: and if any left after my husband's death, then to be divided amongst all my children, and the one half of the money arising out of estate to be as soon as can convently be don after my death be equally Devied amoung all my children, sheare and sheare alik And I do hereby make and ordain my esteem frand George L. Cowen, Executor of this my Last Will and testament ref***ing full confidence them Integrity to perform the trust thus committed to him. In Witness whereof, I, Elizabeth Hanly, the testator have to this my Will written on a half sheet of paper, set my hand by making my mark this 7th day of November, A.D. 1860.

Before me the Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the said County personally appeared the within named John Earlenbaugh, and Paul Shiffler, who being duly sworn according to law do depose and say that they were personally present and did see and hear the within named Elizabeth Hanly, sign, seal, execute, publish, pronounce and declare the within and foregoing instrument of writing as and for her Last Will and Testament, that they, (these deponents) did sign their names as Witnesses thereto in the presence of each other, and in the presence and at the request of the said Testatrix, and that at the signing of the same, the said Testatrix was of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief.

Memorandum: Letters Testamentary were this day granted to George L. Cowen, Esq., of Taylor Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania, on the estate of Elizabeth Hanly, late of the said Township, County and State, deceased. An Inventory of the goods and chattels, rights and credits which were of the said Deceased, to be exhibited in thirty days of this time; and a just and true account, calculation and reckoning of his said Administration within one year from the date hereof, or when thereunto legally required.
Given under my hand and Official Seal this Seventh day of February A.D. 1861. Inventory and vendue list filed this 27th day of Feby A.D. 1861. Account passed, allowed and filed, Feby 27th, 1864. The petition of Mary Glass intermarried with Daniel F. Glass of Taylor Township Blair County daughter and heir of Elizabeth Henley dec'd was made setting forth: that the said Elizabeth Henley died about the 19th day of Feb. 1860 intestate seized in her demesne of and in a certain messuage and tract of land situate in said township of Taylor bounded by lands of Mrs. E. Lytle in the East, George Stouffer in North and Samuel Graybill and Michael Graybill in the West containing about one hundred twenty nine acres more or less with the appurtenances and leaving to survive her a husband Samuel Hanley and ten children viz; the petitioner married to Daniel F. Glass, Elizabeth married to Michael Hanley [Hainsey] Jacob Hanley, Christian Hanley, Susan Hanley married to Abraham Otto, Margaret Hanley married to Henry Otto, John Hanley, David Hanley Catherine Hanley married to Thomas Burns and Sarah Hanley married to David F. Glass all of full age. That under and by virtue on the intestate laws of the Commonwealth it belongs to the said Mary Hanley the petitioner to have the one equal tenth part of said real estate and to the remaining heirs one equal tenth part. No partition of said real estate having been made the petitioner prays the Court to make partition of said Real Estate to and among the respective parties according to their rights and further that all the parties named reside in Blair county except Michael Hanley who resides at Cross Roads Burlington County, Ohio.
Whereupon 30 Jan. 1865 it is considered by the Court and Inquest awarded and entered that personal notice be given to all residing within the County and that notice be given to those interested residents out of the state by publication in one newspaper published in the County of Blair by sending copy of said paper and notice by mail to their post office address.
