Obituary - Manitoulin Expositor, Little Current, Ontario (d ate unknown) DIETER, Harry 1874 - 1915 D pg 9 CALLED EARLY - Harry Dieter, a Victim of Blood Poisonin g - It was with deep regret that it became known yesterda y that Harry Dieter had succumbed to blood poisoning. It a ppears that he cut one of his fingers on a stovepipe recent ly. Little was thought of it at the time but last week th e wound began to swell and became painful and the disease s oon spread through his whole body. On Sunday pneumonia also developed and all hope of re covery was lost. Mr. Dieter who was sawyer lived many year s in town having come here from Bay City, and his early dea th at the forty one years is generally regretted and much s ympathy is expressed for the bereaved family. Besides th e widow nine children are left to mourn the loss. The fune ral took place this morning at 10 A.M., interment being i n Holy Trinity Cemetery. The funeral was conducted by the I.O.O.F. Lodge of wh ich deceased was a member.
